Geo Week 2027 Conference
The call for speakers for Geo Week 2027 is currently open, with submissions closing on Friday, July 17.
Geo Week 2027 will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, running from February 23 to 25. This year, accepted talks will be matched across three co-located tracks managed by Geo Week, ASPRS, and the Reality Capture Network. A single full conference pass grants attendees access to all three tracks, offering more sessions, broader audiences, and increased opportunities for presentations to reach relevant attendees.
For those considering submission: If you have an idea but are unsure about finalizing your abstract, submit what you can, including a description of your intended topic. The organizers are available to discuss and help develop the talk. If approval is needed before attending or committing, submit anyway. Speakers' ability to attend is confirmed before their information is placed on the program. If a co-speaker or presenter needs to be lined up, submit anyway. Applicants will be contacted by September, allowing time for these arrangements. If your topic only partially fits the categories and topics covered by Geo Week, submission is still encouraged. Relevant topics not initially slotted may be included. Students and early-career professionals have options: submit through the general call now, or use the student-only portal available from October 5 through November 6. New voices are welcomed each year.
Accepted speakers may qualify for GISP credits. With three tracks sharing a single conference pass, presentations can reach a wider segment of the geospatial community.
