About Afrospatial
Afrospatial is Africa's geospatial magazine. We report on the people, programmes and technology that map, measure and plan the continent: GIS, remote sensing and Earth observation, drones, GNSS and surveying, land administration, urban planning and space.
What we publish
- The magazine. Five editions a year, in print and as a free digital edition you can read online.
- Articles. Features, interviews and opinion from practitioners and researchers across Africa, in the magazine and on afrospatial.com.
- News. Short briefs each weekday, reported from primary sources, with African stories first.
- The newsletter. The latest news and each new edition, by email.
Who we write for
Surveyors, GIS analysts, remote-sensing specialists, planners, engineers, researchers and students, and the government agencies, companies and organisations they work for. We write for professionals who want to know what changed, why it matters for their work in Africa, and where to read more.
How we work
Our editorial standards explain how we choose stories, source, check and edit them, label sponsored content and correct mistakes.
